Imo State Government has reiterated its determination to ensure that all projects embarked upon by the Rescue Mission administration are completed in three senatorial zones of State.

Imo Deputy Government, Prince Eze Madumere made this statement while receiving in audience, on behalf of the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the Traditional Rulers of Okigwe zone who called on him.

Prince Madumere further assured the traditional rulers that Rescue Mission administration under Governor Okorocha will ensure that its mandate on industrialization is brought to fruition.

He also said the free education policy under Owelle Rochas Okorocha will continue. He also revealed government’s resolve to complete the College of Education campus in Okigwe zone.

Prince Madumere therefore charged them to take charge of their various autonomous communities by ensuring there is peace and that people go about their businesses without any fear of molestation.
Earlier, HRH, Eze Mathew Onwenu, the leader of the delegation said their aim of coming was to identify with the success story of the present administration, which cuts across all the zones in Imo State.

In their separate remarks, the traditional ruler of Umuelemai autonomous community, HRH, Eze Romanus Chukwukere-Obiechefu and a member representing Mbano in Okigwe Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH, Eze Emmanuel Ibechi explained that the cordial relationship between the Governor and his Deputy contributed, in no little measure, in the landmark achievements of the Rescue Mission government. They vow to do everything humanly possible to ensure that peace reign in their different communities.

The high point of the solidarity visit was the performance of libations as the mark of spiritual support to the Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere.
