One of Jonathan’s top aides, Oronto Douglas is dead. He was said to have died this morning in Aso Rock medical clinic.
A lawyer, activist and Niger Delta environmentalist, has been in and out of hospitals for months on treatment on a yet to be ascertained illness. He has been shuttling between Nigeria and the United States of America for months.
It will be recalled that the last major public event involving him was during the burial of his father in 2013. The burial claimed the life of former Kaduna State Governor and a former retired Chief of Defence staff,who died in a plane crash while returning from the burial in Bayelsa State.
