Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial flag bearer in the 2012 governorship election in Ondo State, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has underscored the values of partnership, urging lawyers to explore it for the betterment of their lives and profession.

He made this known on Tuesday while inaugurating the chambers of Adebayo and Gbadamosi Law Firm in Ibadan.

According to him, the partnership of the duo of Adebayo Ojo and Kazeem Gbadamosi, who were lawyers in his chambers many years ago, had given benefits to their partnership and the legal profession in general.

While going on the journey of his partnership with former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Akin Olujinmi (SAN), Chief Akeredolu said their partnership, especially in their individual sub-legal discipline of commercial law and advocacy-litigation, helped the profession in general, urging lawyers to explore it to their benefit.

Akeredolu said the two partners – Ojo and Gbadamosi – had succeeded this far because of their not failing to critique their individual selves in the course of their profession.

According to him, they both never suffered fools gladly and generously critiqued each other, even in their partnership.

While speaking at the occasion, Chief N. O. Oke (SAN) said the two partners had vision and focus, the pursuit of which he said gave birth to the edifice being commissioned.

Speakers after speakers spoke of how the two partners were critical of each other, while not abandoning their vision.

Present at the occasion were Prince Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), O. J. Erhabor, First Vice President, NBA, Mr Wole Aina, Vice Chairman, Ibadan NBA, Eze Ndigbo of Ibadan, Dr. Alex Anozie, Justice F. A. Olubanjo, Justice B. O. Quadri, Justice Bayo Taiwo, Alhaji Wasiu Abubaqri and Hon. Babatunde Oduyoye, ‎among others.
