Self-acclaimed “Prophet of Prophets”, Anthony Nwoko and Head of the Custodian Covenant Messengers, Enugu, has advised President Goodluck Jonathan not to seek for another term in office because “God and His host of Angels have deserted him”.
Prophet Nwoko who spoke to Daily Review Online, said if Jonathan runs, he would bring more curses and problems to Nigeria than we are experiencing now.
He said: “Go and tell President Jonathan that he no longer has the favour of God. God was with him when he contested the first election and won. Now, God is no longer with him. God and His host of Angels have deserted him. He should seek the gentleman approach and walk away. There is so much corruption and blood shedding in the land.
“He needs a spiritual approval to win any election, but now that has been taken away. If he insists and runs, he would be taken the light that is meant for another person. There is only one moon in the world which shines on everybody and if Jonathan runs, he would be covering that moon and t would be disastrous for him.
“This is a battle I have been fighting for more than 28 years now. I told Babangida so. I told Abiola not to hang on to that mandate or he would die because it was not from God; I warned Abacha he would die if he continued to hide the glory that belongs to God. I warned Obasanjo against going for third and the consequences. They didn’t listen. I am now warning Jonathan, he shouldn’t run in 2015 because God’s glory has been taken away from him. He would plunge Nigeria into more problems.”
Prophet Nwoko chided religious leaders in the country for failing to speak up against bad rulers, saying religious leaders themselves have become evil.
“The religious leaders have gone into rituals, some have gone into cultism, some have been silenced by sin, some have gone into materialism and many have died of their wicked acts,” he said.
He said he would continue to preach against “the evil that religious and political leaders are doing in this county which is why our nation is backwards”.
