Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury following a three-vehicle road accident in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Ladewig, a 26-year-old model, was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations due to her pregnancy but was later discharged after doctors confirmed that she was in good condition, according to reports by Türkiye Today and the Demirören News Agency.
The accident occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
According to the Demirören News Agency, Ladewig was driving an SUV when she reportedly entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.
The impact allegedly caused her to lose control of the SUV, which subsequently crashed into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision involved two sport utility vehicles and a light commercial vehicle. All three vehicles reportedly sustained damage, but no injuries were recorded.
Following the accident, Ladewig was taken to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical checks because she was eight months pregnant.
She was discharged after the examinations, with reports indicating that she was in good condition.
Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media.
Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international footballer who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray. He is one of the Super Eagles’ leading attacking players.
