Tinubu extols Tunde Rahman’s dedication, leadership on 60th birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised his longtime aide, Tunde Rahman, for his unwavering loyalty, professionalism, and dedication to duty as he marks his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the President commended Rahman, who currently serves as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Special Duties, for his years of committed service both as a former Adviser on Media and in his present role within the Presidency.

Tinubu highlighted Rahman’s strong leadership qualities and exceptional work ethic, particularly during the period leading up to the last presidential election. He noted that Rahman played a prominent role as a political liaison and media strategist, contributing significantly to the administration’s communication efforts.

The President also described Rahman as a conscientious journalist and seasoned newspaper editor who has consistently upheld professionalism while using journalism as a tool to advance public good and social justice.

“I especially celebrate Tunde Rahman for his outstanding qualities on the celebration of his 60th birthday. He is a dedicated, humble and extraordinarily loyal personal aide who serves with utmost dedication,” Tinubu stated.

He further acknowledged Rahman’s contributions to the administration’s progressive ideals and efforts to promote good governance, describing him as a reliable adviser whose counsel is sincere and devoid of hidden motives.

Tinubu concluded with prayers for Rahman, asking God to grant him good health and greater wisdom for continued service to the nation and humanity.
