Nigerian activist and content creator, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has made headlines again after purchasing a brand-new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser (300 Series VXR), reportedly worth ₦278 million, paying fully in cash.

The development is coming just hours after the outspoken social media personality received a ₦140 million cash gift from Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy, a gesture that sparked widespread reactions across social media.

In a viral video currently circulating online, VDM was seen at the car dealership completing documentation and taking delivery of the luxury SUV, confidently declaring the purchase “paid in full,” with no loans or installments involved.

The celebration took an unexpected turn when an anonymous well-wisher at the dealership surprised him with an additional gift — a Toyota Corolla (2016 model). The donor reportedly described the gesture as a token of appreciation for VDM’s consistent humanitarian efforts and his support for the less privileged in society.

Known for fearlessly calling out alleged injustice and holding powerful individuals accountable, VeryDarkMan has built a reputation that resonates with many Nigerians, particularly youths. His recent acquisitions have further fueled conversations around consistency, integrity, and the financial rewards that can follow sustained influence and public trust.

Social media users have since flooded the comment sections with congratulatory messages, praising his rise and commending his continued commitment to advocacy and charity despite his growing wealth.
