Emergency responders averted loss of life on Tuesday following a multiple vehicle accident involving a fully loaded tanker and six other vehicles at Otedola Bridge, outward Lagos (inward Berger).
According to officials, personnel stationed at Otedola Bridge responded swiftly after the crash was reported, helping to contain the situation and prevent further damage.
No fatalities were recorded in the incident. However, two persons sustained serious injuries and were immediately evacuated to a hospital for urgent medical treatment.
As of the time of reporting, emergency response teams remained on ground, working to clear the affected vehicles and restore free flow of traffic along the busy axis.
Motorists have been advised to exercise patience and consider alternative routes while recovery operations continue.
