United States President Donald Trump on Monday held a confidential, highly classified meeting with football star Cristiano Ronaldo and rapper Nicki Minaj, during which both celebrities presented disturbing evidence of ongoing attacks against Christian communities in parts of Africa and the Middle East. The closed-door discussion, which followed a private dinner, lasted for more than an hour.

According to sources familiar with the meeting, Minaj presented Trump with several videos, including graphic footage from a recent church attack and other killings targeting Christians in one of the affected countries. She reportedly urged the former president to intervene urgently to halt the violence.

In his presentation, Ronaldo submitted a detailed 10-page document outlining what he described as the escalating persecution of Christians and the mass killings of Eastern peoples in the region. The document also challenged what he called the “fraudulent narrative” of oneness in the former country, insisting that the forced unity was worsening tensions. He further highlighted crises in Sudan, Ethiopia, and other troubled areas.

Trump assured both visitors that he was not deliberately delaying action against jihadist groups. He explained that he had given the leadership of the affected country a one-month ultimatum to take decisive steps to end the killings. If the violence persisted beyond the 30-day window, he warned, he would not hesitate to intervene.

Ronaldo, however, appealed to Trump to shorten the deadline, arguing that every additional day under the current grace period could lead to more unnecessary loss of life.
