The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to inclusive national development, assuring that no part of the country will be neglected in the pursuit of growth and prosperity.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, gave the assurance on Thursday during a courtesy visit to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah. The visit was part of activities marking the two-day Citizens’ Engagement Series and Federal Government Projects Tour of the South-East.
“The Tinubu administration is committed to ensuring that no region is left behind in Nigeria’s development drive,” Idris said. “What we are seeing in Enugu—modern roads, upgraded schools, improved public facilities—is proof that President Tinubu’s policies are translating into real benefits for the people.”
The Minister commended ongoing infrastructural and social projects in the state, noting that they reflect the federal government’s vision for balanced development across the country.
The statement was issued by Rabiu Ibrahim, Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation.
