PDP meets next week to replace Anenih

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet on Monday to discuss the modalities ‎for replacement of Chief Tony Anenih who resigned as chairman of the board two days ago.

This is coming as former National Administrative Secretary of PDP, Alhaji Habu Fari has declared interest to replace Adamu Mu’azu as the next national chairman of the party. He is from Taraba state.

According to a statement by the Secretary of PDP BoT, the meeting is expected to hold Monday May 25 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja at 8pm.

It is not certain if President Goodluck Jonathan will officially step in as the next PDP BoT chairman, as Anenih said in his resignation letter that he is resigning to enable Dr. Jonathan to step in as the next chairman of the party’s BoT chairman.ThisDay.
