Hon. Farouk Lawan has been released from Kuje Custodial Centre, marking a significant moment in his life. In a statement following his release, he expressed profound gratitude to Allah SWT for enduring his trial.
“I step out with a heart full of gratitude,” Lawan said. “I’m alive, in good health, and high spirits, ready to reunite with my family, friends, and associates. I don’t take that for granted.”
Lawan acknowledged the unwavering support of his loved ones throughout this challenging phase, stating, “I remain grateful and indebted to my family and friends who stood by me.” He concluded with a prayer for blessings upon them.
