Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his wife, Chioma, have left Nigeria following their wedding.
On Thursday, Davido shared images of their jet on X, captioning it, “Let’s first launch this one.” A video also showed the couple boarding the private jet in Lagos, accompanied by Davido’s team members, including Asa Asika, Lati, and Chioma’s manager, Ubi Franklin.
On Tuesday, Davido married his long-time partner Chioma in a lavish ceremony attended by top figures in the entertainment industry and other dignitaries.
During the ceremony, an emotional Davido assured Chioma’s parents that he would take good care of their daughter. Chioma was seen wiping her husband’s tears.
The Afrobeats star also gifted Chioma a car on their wedding day. Family and friends showered the couple with dollars as they celebrated their union.
The couple welcomed twins last year. In 2022, they tragically lost their first child, Ifeanyi. Davido also has other children from previous relationships.
