Suspected cultists believed to be members of Iceland cult gang in the early hours of Monday abducted and killed two men males and a woman in Egbeh community of Ubie kingdom in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State for allegedly insulting the mother of their leader, one ‘General Danger.’
Community sources said the corpses of the three persons were found along the Egbeh and Ebiriba Road area of Ubie Kingdom on Monday morning hours after they were abducted.
It was gathered that before they were abducted, the two deceased male victims had a quarrel with a woman said to be the mother of ‘General ‘Danger’ who threatened to deal with them ruthlessly.
It was learnt that the lady who was abducted alongside the two men was a girlfriend to one of the male victims.
Meanwhile, the woman said to be the mother of General ‘Danger’ has fled the community.
The Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police command,SP Grace Iringe Koko, confirmed the incident and assured that investigations have started to unravel the circumstance that led to the killings.
She assured that the perpetrators will be arrested. PM.
