The 2022 edition of the anticipated Brands and Marketing Conference and Awards has been slated to hold on November 25, 2022.
According to Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN), its organiser, the event will kick off at Oriental Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos by 10am.
The BJAN annual conference is a flagship event where seasoned analysts and informed stakeholders gather to dissect key issues facing the marketing industry and Nigeria at large.
With BJAN known as the body peopled by journalists covering brands and marketing, this year’s event, the 10th edition, promises to up the ante in scale, reach and participation as reflected in the calibre of experts to speak at the event.

Mr. LAMPE OMOYELE, Chief Executive Officer, Nitro 121 Limited, is Keynote Speaker as other experts in various fields and renowned brand analysts have been lined up as panelists to discuss issues thrown up during the presentation.
Speaking on the event, (BJAN) chairman, Clara Chinwe Okoro, said the choice of this year’s theme was informed by the impact of technology across the globe.
“It is a known fact that the biggest impact of technology is the change it creates in people’s perceptions, it expands access, speed and productivity, which have much more far-reaching effects.
“Technology has changed the way people conceptualize the possibilities available to them in their various lives. Brands that have pushed the boundaries of technological innovation have remained a cut above the rest, able to pivot their businesses to adapt to consumers’ changing needs.
“Our desire at this conference is to brainstorm on how technology has changed people’s way of thinking and how it has transformed the way they interact with brands,” Clara said.
The BJAN chairman further noted that this year’s conference is part of the association’s efforts at deepening discussions on issues affecting brands as they grapple with the ever innovative role technology is playing in marketing communications.
The maiden edition held in 2012 in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital had the theme “Repositioning Centenary Brands to Align with Modern Realities.
