Group Seeks Donations To Sonny Okosun’s Book Project

Fans of Pan-Africanist and music superstar, late Evang (Dr.) Sonny Okosuns who died about twelve years ago have a chance to relive the memory of the deceased musician when his biography is published.
A group of fans of the Ozziddi music exponent, led by his brother-manager, Charles Dukeson Okosun, has commissioned his biography, to be published as part of his memorial and death anniversary on May 12, 2022.
According to Charles Okosun, the committee handling the biography and other commemorative events has decided to widen the scope of the participation of the celebrations by asking other fans for donations to finance the book publishing project.
The book would detail the exploits of the Ozziddi star, his life and times, contributions to the African liberation struggles, musical productions as well as gospel ministry.
Mr. Okosun said, he has received the support of BEATS Publisher, Ladi Ayodeji, whose newspaper is promoting the anniversary along with other entertainment industry stalwarts. “I am happy to say that the event is being powered by BEATS,” according to the manager.
He urged fans of his late brother, Sonny Okosuns, and other well-wishers to send their donations to:
