Publisher, Newsblast Newspaper Loses Elder Brother

The activist publisher of National Newsblast Newspaper, one of the leading independently published tabloids based in Imo State in Nigeria’s South East geo-political region, Comrade Salvator Amadi, has lost his eldest brother and head of his family, Mr. Benjamin Amadi.
Information available from the publisher who is the Public Relations Officer of Independent Newspaper Publishers Association (INPA) in the state, revealed that late Benjamin died about 9:30pm on Friday 29 September, 2017 after a protracted illness. He was aged 64.
Late Amadi is survived by three sisters namely Lady Mrs. Pauline Divine, Mrs. Anthonia Dominic, Mrs. Humiliana Nwachukwu, four brothers: Mr. Alexius Amadi, Comrade Salvator Amadi, Mr. Clement Amadi, Mr. Melanius Amadi, and a 17 year-old son, Master Miracle Amadi among other relatives.
According to Comrade Salvator Amadi, producer of The People’s Voice on Darling FM 107.3 Owerri, co-author of YOURS IN SERVICE, the biography of Queenie Ronke Doherty, MBE, MFR, OFR, former media strategist of Njiko Igbo Worldwide, a socio-political pressure group championing the interests of the Igbo race in Nigeria and former Media Assistant to former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu , burial arrangements will soon be announced by the family.
