The All Progressives Congress has scheduled Tuesday, March 24, for the screening of aspirants seeking national offices as part of preparations for its upcoming national convention.
The exercise will be held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, according to a notice issued by the Secretary of the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda.
Yuguda stated that only aspirants who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will be eligible for screening. He added that all candidates must appear in person with relevant documents for verification and are advised to arrive early to ensure a smooth process.
The screening forms part of activities lined up for the party’s national convention scheduled to take place from March 25 to March 28, 2026..
The APC had earlier released a comprehensive timetable covering its internal processes, including ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses. These stages have been concluded, alongside the resolution of appeals arising from each level.
The ongoing process began with membership e-registration in December 2025 and has progressed through multiple phases leading up to the national convention.
