The US State Department has announced a $10 million reward for intelligence leading to information on Mojtaba Khamenei, the new supreme leader of Iran, and other senior Iranian officials.
The announcement, made on March 13, 2026, included names such as Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Minister of Intelligence and Security Esmail Khatib, among ten key individuals identified by the US.
“These individuals command and direct elements of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which plans, organizes, and executes terrorist activities globally,” the State Department said.
Tipsters were urged to submit information securely via Tor or Signal, and the department stated that sources could be eligible for relocation and the monetary reward under its “Rewards for Justice” program, which offers cash for intelligence leading to the capture or prosecution of wanted persons.
Mojtaba Khamenei’s father, Ali Khamenei, was killed in a bombing on February 28, 2026, marking the start of the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran.
The State Department’s announcement comes amid ongoing regional tensions following the military strikes, which have drawn international attention and sparked economic concerns, particularly in the oil and shipping sectors.
