Tinubu hails Zinox founder Leo Stan Ekeh at 70

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Mr Leonard Stanley Nnamdi Ekeh, founder and chairman of Zinox Group, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a statement issued on February 21, 2026, the President described Ekeh as one of Nigeria’s pioneering innovators in the information technology sector, noting his significant role in advancing indigenous technology production.

President Tinubu recalled the landmark launch of Zinox Technologies Limited in 2001, which began local manufacturing of computers and accessories. He described the development as a groundbreaking moment for Nigeria’s technology and manufacturing industries.

The President acknowledged Ekeh’s contributions to the growth of the nation’s manufacturing and IT ecosystem, commending him as a pace-setter and dynamic industrialist. He also praised the entrepreneur’s commitment to promoting Nigerian brands and creating opportunities for young Nigerians.

As the Zinox Group chairman marks his platinum jubilee, President Tinubu wished him good health and many more years of impactful achievements.
