Paul Pogba has been honoured with the Comeback Award at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards, marking a poignant chapter in his career resurgence.
Speaking at the ceremony, the former World Cup winner described the recognition as deeply meaningful after what he called a “long and difficult journey.” Pogba reflected on the challenges he faced away from the spotlight, noting that tough moments revealed who truly stood by him.
“This award means a lot to me and my wife,” he said. “We’ve been through so much together. She supported me greatly, and my children kept me smiling.”
Pogba also expressed gratitude to AS Monaco for believing in him during his return, as well as to his teammates and fans who offered encouragement throughout his struggles.
