Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua will square off in a heavyweight boxing match on Friday, December 19, live on Netflix from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Billed as Judgment Day, the bout is scheduled for eight rounds and represents the biggest test yet of Paul’s professional boxing career. The 28-year-old American enters the fight with a 12–1 record, including seven knockouts, and is seeking his seventh consecutive win since his split-decision loss to Tommy Fury nearly three years ago.
Joshua, a former two-time unified heavyweight champion, returns to the ring following a knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September. The 36-year-old Brit holds a record of 28 wins and four losses, with 25 knockouts, and has vowed to end Paul’s rapid rise in the sport.
Both fighters exchanged sharp words during fight week, with Paul saying he aims to silence critics, while Joshua promised to shut down his opponent decisively.
The co-main event features unified super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner defending her IBF, WBA and WBO titles against Canada’s Leila Beaudoin, who is challenging for a world title for the first time.
Also on the main card, former UFC champions Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley clash in a cruiserweight boxing bout, while American Olympian Jahmal Harvey faces Colombia’s Kevin Cervantes at super featherweight.
The preliminary card is headlined by undisputed bantamweight champion Cherneka Johnson, who defends her title against unbeaten Canadian contender Amanda Galle.
The main card begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, with free prelims streaming earlier in the day.
