A spokesman for President Bola Tinubu, Daniel Bwala, says the Federal Government will soon publish the identities of terrorists and their sponsors as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national security.

Speaking during a TVC interview on Sunday, Mr Bwala said the administration has begun “far-reaching and decisive interventions” aimed at exposing individuals and networks responsible for funding and enabling terrorism across Nigeria.

“In the coming days, Nigerians will know who the terrorists are and those funding them,” he stated.

The presidential aide noted that the government is intensifying counter-terrorism operations amid renewed attacks in parts of Kwara, Kogi, Kebbi, and Katsina states, where bandits have carried out kidnappings and deadly raids.

Mr Bwala added that terrorism has evolved into a global threat requiring broad international cooperation, saying extremist activities once concentrated in the Middle East have now shifted toward the Sahel, creating new security challenges for West African nations.

He stressed that global powers increasingly recognise the need to support countries like Nigeria as terrorist groups attempt to expand their influence in the region.
