Nollywood actress and producer, Regina Daniels, has publicly accused her estranged husband, billionaire businessman and politician Prince Ned Nwoko, of using his influence and power against her family amid a growing marital crisis.
In a series of emotional posts shared on her official X handle (@regina.daniels), the actress alleged that police officers assaulted her elder brother and that several members of her family have been arrested on the orders of Nwoko.
“Imagine the Nigerian police beating up my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for? Ned, you have power, connections and money right? Wild for you to think I have none,” Daniels wrote.
The mother of two further expressed distress over what she described as intimidation and psychological harassment, claiming that Nwoko has labeled her a drug addict and allegedly wants her forced into rehabilitation.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. My big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested soon as well — until I return, and according to him, return to rehab. You said I’m a drug addict; me, I use am rob body sir! What other name can you call me? A prostitute?” she lamented.
Daniels, who married Nwoko in 2019 in a widely publicized union, hinted that the marriage has reached a breaking point, warning that the once-celebrated relationship may now end in public disgrace.
“Leave my family alone, Ned! And leave me alone too! It is obvious it’s war! And a big shame that the beautiful but short legacy we built is about to be ridiculed by the whole world,” she wrote.
The actress also suggested that she had previously shielded Nwoko’s image despite personal suffering but may now be ready to expose him publicly:
“What I wouldn’t want to do is to let the man I once saw as an iroko fall before everyone, because you bloody know your little girl Gina is capable of that!”
As of the time of this report, Ned Nwoko has not publicly responded to the allegations. Attempts to reach his media team were unsuccessful.
The development has sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern for the actress’s safety and calling for a transparent investigation into her claims.
