Kylian Mbappe has joined Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho in an exclusive El Clasico club after scoring in his fourth consecutive match against Barcelona.

The Real Madrid forward opened the scoring in a 2–1 victory at the Santiago Bernabeu, finishing calmly from a precise Jude Bellingham pass.

In doing so, Mbappe became only the third player to score in four straight El Clasico fixtures, matching the feats of Ronaldinho, who netted four times in five matches between 2004 and 2006, and Ronaldo, who scored seven goals in six meetings in 2012.

Barcelona equalised in the 38th minute when Fermin Lopez converted Marcus Rashford’s cross, but Bellingham restored Madrid’s lead before half-time with a close-range finish — his first league goal of the season. The English midfielder, at 22 years and 119 days, also became the youngest Madrid player in the 21st century to both score and assist in an El Clasico.

Madrid had a third goal disallowed in the second half, while Vinicius Jr’s frustration was evident when he stormed off after being substituted. Barcelona’s hopes of a comeback faded when Pedri received a second yellow card in stoppage time.

The win extends Madrid’s lead at the top of LaLiga to five points, with Barcelona remaining their closest challengers. Mbappe’s goal marked his 12th strike in nine appearances against Barca, putting him on course to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo’s 20-goal record against the Catalans in the 21st century.
