Comfort Emmanson, the passenger who was detained over an alleged altercation on an Ibom Air flight, has spoken out after her release from Kirikiri Prison.
In an Instagram post, Emmanson thanked her supporters for their prayers and love during her detention, saying she’s still recovering from the physical and emotional toll of her experience.
She expressed gratitude to her loved ones and God, and announced plans to seek medical treatment before sharing her side of the story.
“Thank you so much for all the Prayers, Love, and support, I’ve been released from the Prison, but I’m still in pains due to how I was treated. I just need some rest and medical treatment before I give out my own version of the event. Thank you so much my Lovely Friends and Supporters. I really appreciate y’all from the button of my heart. God bless y’all. THANK YOU MY GREAT GOD!!!”, she wrote.
Emmanson’s release followed the withdrawal of charges by the complainant and Ibom Air, prompting the court to discharge her.
