Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, paid a condolence visit to Kano State on Wednesday to sympathize with two prominent Nigerian families over recent losses.

Obi first visited the family of the late business mogul and elder statesman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, to commiserate with them over his passing. Describing the late Dantata as a man whose life was marked by service and significant contributions to Nigeria, Obi expressed deep sorrow and extended prayers for his soul.

“His life was one of service and contribution to our country and immense gratitude to Almighty Allah. May his gentle soul rest in peace,” Obi stated.

The former governor also stopped by the residence of the late Alhaji Maitama Sule (Dan Masanin Kano) to condole with the family over the loss of their grandson, Musa Ayuba Musa, also known as Abba. Expressing sadness over the death of the young man, Obi acknowledged the pain of losing a promising life.

“No loss is easy, especially that of a young life full of promise. I pray for strength and comfort for the entire family,” he said.

He concluded his visit with prayers, asking Allah (SWT) to grant the departed eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus.
