At least three communities in Otukpo Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State are currently under attacks by armed invaders.
The attacks are happening simultaneously in Emichi, Okpomaju and Odudaje communities, forcing residents to flee.
At least 13 corpses were recovered from Otobi village, according to sources.
A resident said those who sustained gunshots were taken to the hospital for medical attention while people in the affected communities have fled to the main Otukpo town.

Governor Hyacinth Alia has confirm the arrest of three suspected invaders in connection with the attack on Otobi village.
Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Maxwell Ogiri, had yet to respond to calls or messages put through his telephone.
Similarly, calls and messages put through the telephone to spokesperson for Benue Police command, CSP Catherine Anene, has remained unanswered at the time of filing this report.
