Blue Diamond Group CEO Mbisiogu, celebrates staff at AGM, outlines 2025 vision

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Blue Diamond, Group Mr. Festus Mbisiogu has lauded the group’s employees for their steadfast dedication, which played a pivotal role in the company’s success in 2024. He urged them to maintain their momentum in building upon these achievements.

He made this remarks on Thursday in Lagos, at the company’s 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

He expressed deep gratitude to divine providence for the successes and challenges overcome in 2024, as well as for the health and well-being that enabled everyone to welcome the new year.

Mbisiogu acknowledged the considerable challenges the company encountered over the past year, yet emphasized how the unwavering dedication and collaboration of the workforce not only overcame these obstacles but also set Blue Diamond Group on a path to continued success in 2025.

He tasked the staff on bring loyal and committed to the company’s mission and vision. Reflecting on the bonuses awarded at the end of 2024, Mbisiogu said these were a token of appreciation for the staff’s hard work and sacrifices. Going forward, he hinted at further rewards for those who demonstrate exceptional dedication in 2025.

He commended the resilience and strategic vision that have distinguished Blue Diamond Group from its competitors, many of whom are no longer in operation. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening its capabilities, fostering innovation, and prioritizing core business goals. He reminded attendees that the AGM was not merely a procedural event but a vital opportunity for collective reflection, strategy refinement, and forward-looking planning.

He emphasised the need for staff to actively participate and contribute to the meeting’s discussions.

Highlight of the event was the recognition and reward of top performing staff in 2024.

Miss Chidinma Blessing Okoro was named the most punctual staff, while Mr. Philemon Victor Olorunmotito was named the most hardworking staff. They were both rewarded with cash prizes, a gesture intended to inspire all staff to pursue excellence and possibly earn similar recognition in 2025.
