World women’s 100m hurdles record holder, Tobi Amusan has missed out of the final at the Paris Olympics
The Nigerian international finished third in her race at 12.55 seconds.
Despite waiting to find out if any third-placed person would not have a better time, her time of 12.55s left her in the ninth place, just one spot outside the top eight who made it into Saturday’s final.
The qualified athletes for the final of the women’s 100m hurdles include Grace Stark (USA), Devynne Charlton (Bahamas), Alaysha Johnson (USA), Nadine Visser (Netherlands), Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (Puerto Rico), Masai Russell (USA), Ackera Nugent (Jamaica) and Cyrena Samba-Mayela (France).
