In Edo State and beyond, positive narratives have continued to trail the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the September 21 election, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, so far, so good.

Here’s a man who clearly knows what the issues are and has ready solutions for the identified problems. Dr. Ighodalo is not just one of the candidates, he is the candidate who knows his destination from the beginning and the route to get there.

Dr. Ighodalo’s philanthropic gestures to his community is second to none. In time past, Uzebu Community, Okaigben, Ewohimi, like most communities in Edo Central, suffered from severe water scarcity. Asue Ighodalo, through his foundation, the Jeremiah and Folayegbe Ighodalo Foundation, and in line with SDG Goal 6 which talks about Access to Clean water and Sanitation; constructed a 40,000 litre water project powered by a 22 KVA Generator to ensure access to a clean and regular source of water for the entire community.

Till date, the project is still serving the people and ameliorating the water situation in the community.

For Asue Ighodalo, leadership is a synonym for service. Asue Ighodalo believes that together, we can do even more.

Asue Ighodalo is a man that is so great yet so humble. How else do you define exceptionality, capacity, bravery, intelligence, vision, focus, determination and dedication to service, aside from using Asue Ighodalo as the very standard, considering his personal track records?

“Asue Ighodalo is an embodiment of multiple grace. For a long time, we the good people of Edo State have been calling on him to come and lead us further to the promise land, to come and consolidate on the good works of Governor Godwin Obaseki,” said, Madam Eunice Omokharo, member, Benin Market Women Association.

“Asue Ighodalo envisions holistic development in our State, such that lays emphasis on economic growth and social advancement. His agenda prioritizes education, healthcare, infrastructure as well as fostering an inclusive and innovative environment,” said, a civil servant who resides in Benin City.

Simply put, Dr. Asue Ighodalo is the chief cornerstone that must not be traded for anything else.
