The lady behind the controversial Erisco tomatoes paste saga, Mrs Chioma Okoli has suffered a miscarriage, Daily review Online has learnt.
Her lawyer, Barr. Inibehe Effiong made this revelation during court proceedings.
Effiong clarified that the decision to disclose the miscarriage was made solely in court, with the evidence presented before the Honourable Court. He emphasized that the miscarriage revelation is not intended for media dissemination.
Chioma Okoli was arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja on allegations of cyberstalking, to which she pleaded not guilty. Following the proceedings, she was remanded in Suleja Custodial Centre pending a ruling on her bail application scheduled for May 31, 2024.
Effiong urged those inquiring about the case and Chioma’s well-being to acknowledge the constraints on public disclosure at this time, asserting that “history will vindicate the just.”
