The Chairman of Redeemers Men’s Fellowship, known as Excellent Men fellowship of the City of Grace, Region 24, Pastor Samuel Obajemu has advised men who are above forty years old to undertake regular medical screening to avert ailments and diseases that are associated with old age.
The Chairman gave the advise during this years, 2023, annual men’s week held recently at the region 24 headquarters in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The man of God noted that it has become imperative for men who are above 40 years, to understand the need to regularly carry out medical checks on common sickness, as high blood Pressure BP, Blood Sugar, prostate enlargement etc in order to promptly attack the negative outcome, to enhance their health status.
He said, the annual fiesta was to bring together members of the forum, on how to relate and care for each other and the church, even as men are being encouraged to be abreast with their kitchen as a complement to their wives in times of necessity.
He said to this end, members were grouped to prepare delicious dishes which was served to all members present at the event,
Aside the football match, which players gave account of their fitness for sixty minutes, a health talk show was also in place to educate and teach the men on how to manage their health.
He cmmended the General Overseer GO. EA Adeboye, Pastor in charge of Region 24, Provincial Pastors and indeed members of the region for their foresight in encouraging men in the church to have a forum that increases love and intimacy which is serving as a vehicle for evangelisation for the growth of the Ministry.
He equally applauded the Province 3 football team who participated in the novelty match for their commitment to the growth of the church as demonstrated by their display of oneness on the pitch .
The man of God charged other parishes to encourage their members to join excellent men group to bring about cohesion and commitment to work of God in their local assembly.
He equally thanked every member of the excellent men for their sacrifices for the success of the 2023 men’s week.
