A Philanthropist and President of Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation, Ambassador Gabriel Onoja has stressed the need for spirited individuals and organisations to continue to provide for the less privileged within their immediate communities.

Ambassador Onoja in his Salla message affirmed that the gesture will go a long way in bailing the poor and vulnerable people out of their difficulties.

He therefore, urged Nigerians to show love to their fellow brethren who may not be able to afford anything to celebrate with this period.

Onoja noted that Ramadan symbolizes the almighty Allah’s way of teaching humanity for people who are weak, appealing to Muslims particularly, to allow the lessons of the Holy Months dwell in them through charity, compassion, love and works of mercy.

He said the message of sacrifice as preached by the Holy Prophet of Allah can be well situated by providing for those who are hungry, adding that more blessings will be received from Allah by those who care for the widow and orphans.

While urging Nigerians to seek peace at all times with all men irrespective of religion, tribe and social status, Onoja called on Nigerians to promote tolerance, respect for all and exhibit discipline at all times to enable them benefit richly from the blessing of the Holy month of Ramadan.

High point of the message, was the distribution of food items to widows across the three senatorial districts of Kogi to celebrate Eid-El-Fitri.

He gave an assurance that his foundation will continue to do the needful to see that the poorest of the poor in Kogi State benefit from the foundation’s periodic interventions.
