Real Madrid have beaten Chelsea for the first time in their history and take a 3-1 lead back to Spain.
Karim Benzema was the man of the night as he scored a hat-trick that included two wonderful headers.
He opened the scoring with a bullet header from a Vinicius Jr cross, and then moments later, he doubled the lead with a delicate header from a Luka Modric cross. Kai Havertz pulled one back for the home side with another header before Edouard Mendy and Antonio Rudiger gifted Benzema a third.
Chelsea pushed and Romelu Lukaku missed a massive chance in the second half, but Real are in a great position heading into the second leg.
