Celeberated journalist, Editor, Media, Public Affairs and Political Relations Expert and versatile writer, Uche Ezechukwu is dead.
Until his death, he was the Managing Director/CEO, Scroll Media Limited from 2001 – Present.
He was into Public Affairs and Media Consulting, including advice and management of media start-ups, staff training and product re-branding;
He listed other responsibilities in his profile as:
•Political consulting and media/public exposure for political parties, politicians, communities and institutions;
•Linkages with and connections to strategic organisations and bodies for domestic and international organisations and companies;
•Confidential investigation of companies, individuals, organisations for potential foreign collaborators;
•Editorial services for individuals and corporate bodies: research and production of documentaries, books, and wide variety of promotional materials in English and French;
He graduated from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied Communication Studies/Modern Languages from 1974 – 1979
As an undergraduate, he founded “Wasp”, a monthly campus social magazine; Initiated which drove a campaign for official recognition for Pidgin English.
His last Facebook post was on February 2 in which he lamented that the trumpet is sounding. See below.
