A brilliant hat-trick from Sergio Aguero secures an impressive win for Man City, who go third with Arsenal to play Crystal Palace on Super Sunday tomorrow.
Aguero fired City ahead after 33 minutes, and finished a rapid counter-attack to make it two after half-time. Fernandinho was then fouled by Thibaut Courtois in the penalty area, with the Chelsea goalkeeper sent off, allowing Aguero to send Begovic the wrong way for his treble.
That’s two defeats in a row for Chelsea after last weekend’s loss to Swansea. This will be the first time Guus Hiddink has lost two league games in a row as a club manager for the first time since February 2004 (at PSV ).
The hat trick also makes Sergio Aguero the only the 3rd player to score an hat-trick away at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League (after van Persie & Kanu).
