The Liaison Officers of Rochas Okorocha Rescue Mission Administration led by Calistus CJK Chinedo, this afternoon poured encomium on Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha describing him as visionary leader who has brought desired positive changes in the State.
The group made this remark when they paid the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere a courtesy call in his office in Government House, Owerri yesterday.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Chigozie Eme while commending Governor Okorocha for his monumental feat especially in infrastructure, education, security and social welfare, he commended Prince Madumere for his support and for being a visible partner in progress.
Continuing, he commended Governor Okorocha for his sagacity and traditional transparency, the virtue he applied in resolving government-labour misunderstanding. He however attributed the present economic challenges to a global economic downturn, which affected Nigeria and Imo State particular.
Speaking further, he narrated how the number two citizen of Imo State put them together, entrusted them with sensitive assignments but ensured that they were all catered for.
He revealed how Prince Madumere gave them the desired leadership and encouragement especially at the time of great challenges.
He therefore assured of the members of the group continual unflinching support for the Rescue Mission government.
Responding, Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere thanked them for sticking together and for their support for thenRescue Mission government.
He said it was in recognition of their group for their hardworking and support that one of them, Hon Ude Agoha as the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
He however encouraged them to be their brothers keepers and help themselves at times of challenges.
He therefore assured them he will take their goodwill messages to Governor Okorocha while urging them to remain unrepentant supporters of Rescue Mission government.
