Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has charged the youth to be patient in their followership, and be ready to make ingenious inputs towards making a positive change in the society.
Prince Madumere made this remark when he played host to the leadership of Imo State Youth in their large numbers, last week, when they paid him a New Year courtesy visit in his office in Government House, Owerri.
Speaking, he used the opportunity to charge the youth to use their ingenuity to better their society while urging them to imbibe the spirit of patience, which he said will ultimately make them to remain focused and consistent in whatever they believe.
Still hammering on virtues of leadership, he averred that patience affords them the opportunity to learn secrets and wisdom of leadership, saying it is only when one pays attention with patience that he will be able to learn. He reminded them of the maxim that says quitters never win.
He narrated how successful focused and persevered people have become. He used the former Commissioner for Youth and Sports now Adviser to the Governor on Sports, Kenneth Emelu and the former Commissioner for Lands and Urban Planning now Chief of Staff Government House, Hon. Uche.

He assured them of Rescue Mission’s unwavering stance to always put the youth first since they are the leaders of tomorrow. He also used the forum to seek their unflinching support for Governor Okorocha and his Rescue Mission Administration
Speaking earlier, Hon. Kenneth Emelu, Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Youth showered encomium on the number two citizen describing him as a great leader and role model to the youth.
He reminded the youth leaders how Prince Madumere has consistently protected the interest of the youth prior the emergence and after the emergence of Rescue Mission Government.
He also described Prince Madumere as number one apostle of Rescue Mission whose partnership to the success of the government is unequaled. He therefore called on the youth to emulate his high sense of humility and virtue of loyalty.
In the same vein, the the Chairman of Imo State Youth Council, Comrade Jeff Nwaoha praised Prince Madumere for his leadership qualities, the trait he described as the needed quality for a higher leadership post.
