Ambrose Efe and team mates are targeting the treble after winning the Scottish League Cup with a 2-0 win over 10-man Dundee United.
It was Deila’s first trophy since taking charge of Celtic in the summer, with goals from Kris Commons and James Forrest easing the Hoops to victory.
Commons gave Deila’s men the lead before Dundee United captain Sean Dillon was sent off 10 minutes into the second half for a dangerous tackle, and substitute Forrest doubled the lead, before he later missed a penalty.
Johansen told the BBC after the game: “It’s fantastic. There’s still a long way to go for the treble but this is the first trophy we can win and to do it today is fantastic.
“Dundee have given us a good game whenever we’ve met them but we controlled the game good and scored two deserved goals.”
Commons, who hit his 11th goal of the season, added: “Its’ the first time I’ve got my hands on this trophy in my time at Celtic.
“Once that goal went in it settled our nerves and we dominated the game.
“When you’ve got a captain like Scott (Brown), he’s a natural leader and natural winner. He’s a big, big character in our dressing room as far as team spirit goes. It’s been magic from day one here.”
