PDP is gone in Imo State –Onyemuche

“The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State does not have any future again due to the emergence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with a view to pushing it to an internal extinction” Chief Onyemuche averred.
A frontline politician and successful business man, Chief Alphonsus Onyemuche (JP) made this statement in Owerri while briefing journalists also maintained that the arrival of the APC in the state has witnessed mammoth support from the PDP members who see no reason to continue to remain in the party that did not achieve anything for the state during its twelve years administration in Imo State.
Chief Onyemuche who is the APC Chairman of all chairmen in Ideato North council area of Imo State while highlighting some relevant programmes of the party ranging from youths’ empowerment, rural development, poverty alleviation and proper sensitization of the general public further called on well meaning Imolites to support the party and as well disassociate themselves from the PDP as according to him, the party has no vision for the state and Nigeria at large.
The chairman of Uzoakoli-Umuago Ward in Ideato North LGA while hinting further maintained that in a bid to alleviate the poverty surrounding the society, he commenced serious empowerment where according to him, bags of rice, indomie, clothes/rappers, plastic buckets and soaps were distributed to the people of the council pointing out that throughout the PDP lasted in the area, there was no day it deemed it necessary to provide food on the tables of the people.
According to the Justice of Peace, Chief Onyemuche, “We singlehandedly provided all these requisite materials to the people without expecting anything from them. We believe that we cannot induce them to support our party because they have seen the reason and the need to dance, walk and laugh with our members. Since the emergence of the APC in the state, the people are now relaxed because they have seen dividends of democracy in action. The Ideato nation at large is strongly in support of the rescue mission government”.
On Anambra election, Chief Onyemuche expressed shock that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ignored all calls from well meaning Nigerians to cancel the poll allegedly marred with irregularities and regretted that the electoral umpire showed deaf ears to the call and described the election as sham and ridiculous.
On the developmental strides of Governor Okorocha, the APC chairman expressed happiness that the number one citizen in the state has fulfilled virtually all his campaign promises and advised PDP to cover her face in shame for not doing anything for the state in twelve years it held sway of the governance of the state even as he pointed out that Imolites would no longer accept deceitful promises from any power hunger in 2015 except whom they know that has performed creditably well in less than three years.
On the case of Jude Agbaso with EFCC, Chief Onyemuche expressed annoyance on the attitude of some law enforcement agencies over issues concerning any person related to the presidency and called on the Judiciary to thoroughly investigate the matter and bring the culprit to book to serve as deterrent to other public office holders in the country.
