A mid-day twin bomb blasts which struck the popular GSM market, Nasarawa GRA Kano on Wednesday have left over 50 persons dead.
Eyewitness, said the Improvised Explosive Device was planted close to the generator serving the market, while the second bomb went off at the heart of the market.
“Corpses littered everywhere in the market, the eyewitness said,” adding that at least over 50 persons may have been killed in the blasts.
The blast went off during the late afternoon prayers triggered pandemonium within the vicinity.
This is coming on the heels of yesterday’s bomb explosion in the Jambutu area of the Adamawa state capital which left over 40 persons dead.
There has been no official confirmation of the number of casualties in the Kano bomb blasts.
