The police chief assured residents that his administration would prioritise transparency and responsible policing, while working to rebuild public trust in the force.

He emphasised the need for discipline among officers, warning that misconduct and unprofessional behaviour would not be tolerated under his watch. The CP noted that ensuring accountability within the command would remain a central focus of his leadership.

The new commissioner also promised to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders, including community leaders and civil society groups, to enhance security and promote community-based policing.

According to him, reforms would be driven by respect for human rights, adherence to the rule of law, and improved operational standards across the command.
