The family of a newly called-to-bar lawyer, Onyesom Peace Udoka, has raised alarm over her disappearance while returning from Abuja to Benin.
Udoka, who studied law at Enugu Campus, was last heard from around 12 p.m. on Friday, 27th September 2025, while traveling near Lokoja. She had just participated in the Call to Bar ceremony on 23rd September 2025 in Abuja.
According to family sources, her phone went unreachable shortly after she reportedly contacted someone with the number 08058525334. Her personal line is 08135538123.
The last confirmed information placed her close to Lokoja, Kogi State, but all efforts to trace her since then have proved unsuccessful.
“She was so excited about her Call to Bar. This was supposed to be a joyful moment for our family. Now, we don’t even know where she is,” a relative said.
The family is calling on security agencies, the Nigerian Bar Association, and the general public to assist in locating her.
