Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has been hospitalised following a motor accident that occurred while he was travelling from Daura to the state capital, Katsina.
The incident happened shortly after the governor had concluded a condolence visit to the family of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, where he had received visiting dignitaries.
Reliable sources confirmed that the governor sustained a fracture during the crash and was promptly rushed to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Daura for urgent medical care.
At the time of reporting, Governor Radda is receiving treatment, and medical personnel say he is in stable condition and responding positively to care.
