The Lagos State Government will commence a comprehensive Ministerial Press Briefing on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa Secretariat, where Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) will showcase their achievements over the past year under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The 40-day-long programme, anchored by the Ministry of Information and Strategy, is part of efforts to promote transparency, strengthen accountability, and deepen citizen engagement in governance.

A statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Honourable Gbenga Omotoso, emphasized the importance of the briefings as a platform for Lagosians to interact with the state’s leadership and better understand the policies driving development across the state.

“Lagosians are invited to actively participate and stay informed as each member of the State Executive Council presents a detailed account of his or her Agency’s performance,” said Omotoso. “Key projects, impactful initiatives, and the direct benefits of our policies on the lives of residents will be thoroughly highlighted.”

He described the briefing as an essential link between the government and its people, noting that it is “time to tender the government’s scorecard.”

“The Sanwo-Olu administration has done so much, and Lagosians will be proud of their Governor,” Omotoso added.

The press briefing will conclude on May 29, 2025, with a major address by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, offering a comprehensive overview of the achievements outlined throughout the event.

Citizens are encouraged to engage through both traditional and social media platforms using the hashtag #AGreaterLagosRising, as the administration continues to implement the THEMES+ Agenda—its strategic framework focused on improving Transportation, Health, Education, Environment, and other critical sectors.

With the press briefings, the Lagos State Government reiterates its commitment to inclusive governance, ensuring that the voices and welfare of its residents remain at the center of its developmental strides.
