Former Vice President and Waziri Adamawa, Atiku Abubakar, on Friday led a high-profile delegation on a post-Sallah visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Kaduna.
The visit, which comes days after the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, included prominent political figures such as former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, and former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, among others.
Atiku, who could not participate in Sallah visits earlier due to traditional responsibilities in Adamawa, used the occasion to pay his respects to the former president. As the Waziri Adamawa, he stood in for the Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa, during key Sallah activities in the state.
The visit was marked by cordial interactions and is seen as a show of goodwill and unity among northern political leaders, transcending party lines and political seasons.
