The Molokwus of Onitsha have announced the death of Aneche Mrs Benedicta Bamidele Molokwu, wife of retired Col. Akunnia Ikem Molokwu, former Special Adviser on Security to Governor Peter Obi in Anambra State.
Mrs Molokwu, a Deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Onitsha, passed away at 70 on December 13, 2024.
Her husband, Col. (retd.) Molokwu; a daughter, Ogechukwukamma Blessing Chimama’da Molokwu; two stepdaughters, two stepsons and step-grandchildren; a sister, Pastor Mrs. Bose Musa; a brother, Mr. James Akota Ordia Ehinomen; as well as uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and cousins, survive Deaconness Molokwu.
Her husband is the elder brother to Dr JoBel Molokwu, former APCON Registrar and Senior Fellow at the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University.
A statement by Arc. Chinedu Molokwu for the families, said lying in State and Funeral Service will occur on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 06.30 a.m. at her home, 15 Ogbuli Nwawulu Street, Inland Town, Onitsha.
Interment will follow by Noon at Ehanle Ewu, Edo State.
