Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, who was suspended from the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s (RCCG) City of David Parish, has launched a new ministry called “The Family Fellowship” in Lagos.
Iluyomade’s decision to establish the new fellowship comes after his suspension in June 2024, following controversy surrounding his wife Pastor Siju’s 60th birthday celebration. The event, which took place shortly after the death of prominent church member Herbert Wigwe, faced criticism for its timing.
The inaugural service for “The Family Fellowship” was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, with a vibrant atmosphere of dancing and celebration.
Inviting the public to join, Iluyomade promised a spiritually enriching experience, writing on Instagram, “The Family Fellowship invites you specially. Join us tomorrow at the Civic Centre for a special time in the Lord’s presence. It promises to be a great experience.”
