Joseph Aloba, father of late singer Mohbad, has revealed that his life has improved significantly since his son’s passed.

In an interview with media personality Akin Abolade, Aloba attributed the positive turn in his life to the combined efforts of Mohbad’s spirit and God.

Aloba disclosed that Mohbad had planned to do many things for him but was unable to fulfill them before his death.

However, after Mohbad’s passing, Aloba said he began to receive assistance from people, including the gift of a car and other essential items.

“Let me just say yes, my life got better after Mohbad’s death because he is my friend. He had it in plan to do many things for me but they didn’t allow him to do them. After his death, it was the spirit of Mohbad, and that of God combined together that began to send people to assist me.

“Even the car and everything I have now, it was people that gave them to me and it is beyond ordinary. So it is the spirit of Mohbad and God that led those people to give me all I have now.

“Those were the things he was meant to be doing for me, but they didn’t allow him to do them,” he said.

Aloba shared fond memories of Mohbad, revealing that his son became a backup singer for him at age one.

He also spoke about his career as a carpenter, singer and pastor as well as how Mohbad’s birth inspired him to become a singer after the money from the naming ceremony was stolen.

Since Mohbad’s death, Aloba has released nine tracks and has been gifted a new truck and Toyota Highlander vehicle by compassionate Nigerians.

Mohbad died on September 12, 2023 with the cause of his death still unknown.
